Long-term employees of Butte County Social Services & California State University, Chico the Hiatt's currently reside in a small mountain community in Northern California.
With an earned degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences, Kathi Hiatt is the recipient of The Butte Literacy Council's 2015 and 2016 Literacy Awards for her short stories. More of her works are published in 'First Blush' a 2017 anthology available on Amazon Books, and The 2017 California Writers Literary Review.
Kathi Hiatt is president of The North State Writers Club, and both Hiatt's are active donaters & supporters of local animal groups & shelters.
